The session will highlight important messages from the neurosciences about our stress response system, providing a clear insight into why emotion coaching can help support the development of self-regulation and resilience. The session will outline the emotion coaching process and provide Fellows with the practical skills to employ Emotion Coaching in their work with vulnerable children and families. Appropriate links are made to attachment theory and trauma responsive practice.
